The Herceg Novi Comic Book Festival (Hercegnovski strip festival – HSF) is Montenegro’s exclusive comic convention. Nikola Curcin, a local painter, comic book artist, and musician, initiated this event in 2007 to champion and educate the public about the “ninth art” of comics. Over the years, the festival has expanded significantly, becoming a premier gathering for renowned comic book artists from around the world and an essential event for comic enthusiasts across the Balkan region.
